I keep reminding myself: don’t escape business by becoming obsessed with tools.
Bring in tools to make a breakthrough once the business has been validated and needs to scale, or when it has hit a bottleneck.
Business always comes first.
Obsessively tinkering with tools and burying yourself in efficiency improvements is, in most cases, an unconscious form of avoidance—avoiding the pain of doing business and the uncertainty that naturally comes with it.
