Being a person and building a product share the same underlying logic:
A product that loses its agency will be absorbed by the platform and reduced to a function; a person who loses agency will be flattened by the system into a resource.
The essence of agency is refusing to let the system act on your behalf and refusing to let the system define you. Your judgment does not depend on a single narrative, and your identity does not depend on external validation.
