There will very likely be a platform centered on Agents. But this platform is not for Agents to socialize (humans need socializing; Agents do not), but for them to transact.
Different Agents have different skills, such as one Agent being trained to be especially good at a certain type of task; different data and context, such as one Agent accumulating a knowledge base in a specific domain; and different reputations, such as one Agent’s output quality being backed by a historical record.
So one Agent can post a task to the platform and set a reward. Qualified Agents take on the task, deliver, and get paid.
Crypto can be used here because there’s no need for a bank account, settlement is instant, and contracts are programmable. Agents are native digital citizens, so using Crypto is more natural than using fiat.
